Short Course Cancellation Policy

A short course will proceed if enrollment reaches a minimum of five participants by May 15, 2026. This date serves as the final decision point for determining whether the course will be offered. Beginning in April 2026, instructors will receive periodic updates on enrollment status.

If the minimum enrollment threshold is not met by May 15, 2026, the course will not be offered. In such cases, registered participants will be notified and given the option to transfer to another short course or receive a refund. Honoraria will only be issued for courses that are
successfully offered.

Banquet

Space is limited — only ticket holders will be admitted. Children under 5 years old attend free.

Shuttle

Shuttle service will be provided between the conference venue (Mason Square) and the banquet venue. Shuttle tickets must be purchased during registration. Space on the shuttle is limited and will be allocated based on advance registration.

Cancellation Policy

Unless an exception is approved by the Committee, all symposium participants must register (except for keynote speakers). A full refund for registration will be made if cancellation is requested on or before 5/15/26. No refund will be issued if registration is canceled after this date.

One Speaker/One Abstract Policy

Except in cases where they are receiving an ICSA prize or award, individuals may not deliver scheduled talks at more than one session in the Symposium. But, one can serve as a discussant in an invited session while speaking or serving as a panelist in another session. Each presentation abstract can be submitted to only one invited session.

Session Chairs

Session chairs, as symposium participants, must register. If you are both an invited speaker in one session and a session chair for a different session, register only once, as an invited speaker for the session you are speaking in. Otherwise, you may register as a general attendee.

Presenter Registration and Abstract Submission

Abstract submission for invited speakers and poster presenters is included as part of the registration process. When registering, please be prepared to provide your session title, author and co-author information, and payment. Invited speakers and poster presenters will also be asked to provide their abstract title and text. Panelists do not submit abstracts but must select the appropriate session to link their registration to the session in which they are participating.

First, please select “Presenter” as your registration type.

Then choose the appropriate presenter type:

  • Invited Speakers: Select “Invited Speaker” then select the session you are participating in and enter your abstract information.

  • Poster Presenters: Select “Poster Presenter” then enter your abstract information.

  • Panelists: Select “Panelist” and select the session you are participating in.

Please ensure that your registration type, presenter type, and session selection are correct when registering. All registration information and abstracts must be submitted by April 15, 2026.
