Welcome

The 2026 ICSA Applied Statistics Symposium will be held June 14 through 17 at George Mason University (Mason Square Campus) in Arlington, Virginia. This will be the 35th annual symposium hosted by the International Chinese Statistical Association (ICSA). The theme of this year’s conference is Integrating Statistics and AI for Responsible Innovation and Trustworthy Decision-Making. We hope that this meeting will attract both domestic and international statisticians working in academia, government, and industry.

The symposium will feature short courses, invited sessions, and poster presentations, along with new initiatives including Mentor–Mentee Roundtables and an Industry Summit, designed to enhance engagement, collaboration, and career development. The program will also offer ample opportunities for networking, professional interaction, and recruitment. We will strive to provide a unique conference experience to all our attendees.
